We’re working on a couple of great events for this fall.
On Tuesday, November 11, Donna Hughes, PhD, will be coming to speak. Check out her page for links to many helpful resources and publications. We tried to get Dr. Hughes to come in the Spring for our Amazing Grace series, but our schedules didn’t synch. We’re excited because she is a nationally known expert in the field of human trafficking, specifically sex trafficking, and has been involved with this issue since 1980, and has been involved with efforts to get the government to address this issue. It’s an exciting opportunity to have her come and speak with us! See the Events page for more info (more will be added soon).
Also, we’re working on an event for a Saturday where we will be selling goods Made By Survivors, and are working on other aspects of this event. The date might be Saturday, November 8. The Events page will have info as it becomes available.
