Human trafficking is an overwhelming issue. When people learn about it, immediately discouragement can set in. But recently, I organized an event and put together ideas of how people can respond that I think can help people connect to a small part of the issue, and to be empowered rather than discouraged. We want people to think of themselves as abolitionists, even if they feel they can only help in small ways.
